RIP Jerry,

Feb 2014 -31 March 2020.

Back in February 2014 , the Financial Controller of a Pet Food

Distributor approached us to care for a mother cat and her two two-weeks old sons with all food and medical expenses taken care off .

We call her sons Tom and Jerry. Tom has a kink in his tail whilst Jerry’s was straight.

Mum and her sons did the adoption circuits without success until we noticed Mum’s fur stayed ruffled . We had her blood works done ; she was tested FIV positive . Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is an incurable disease which eventually wears the body out .

We decided to take the family out of adoption and care for them for life .

FIV infects through blood. Given this and not knowing how much time they will have ; the family are given freedom and the best possible food snd supplements to boost their immune system .

Mum lost the battle in 2017 .

Jerry called us to say goodbye. Tessie , our co – carer and I caressed him and sat with him till his last breath at 6.30 pm on the 31 March ,2020 .

He passed on gracefully .

Tom , the remaining member is healthy . We will safeguard him the best we can.
