We thank H.E. Vicki Treadell for visiting Kg. Pasir Gajah on 21st Sept 2018, and for personally delivering the Commonwealth Point of Light Certificate to Dr. Chen. The villager folks were excited to host a VVIP and they couldn't get enough photos/ wefies with H.E. Vicki!

Terima kasih kepada P.Y.T. Vicki Treadell kerana melawat Kg. Pasir Gajah pada 21hb Sept 2018, dan menyampaikan Sijil Pengikitirafan Commonwealth Point of Light kepada Dr. Chen. Penduduk kampung amat teruja atas lawatan seorang VVIP dan ramai yang asyik bergambar dengan P.Y.T. Vicki!

High Commissioner Vicki Treadell presented the Commonwealth Point of Light award to Malaysia's Dr Chen Pelf Nyok who led Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia in saving over 4,500 terrapin turtle eggs from human consumption, released over 2,700 hatchlings; educating and empowering local communities to #SaveTheTurtles.

The visit to the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia centre in Terengganu has been truly inspirational High Commissioner calls for greater awareness and effort from all parties to protect tuntung (turtles) and their habitat. 🇬🇧️🇲🇾️
