2018 had been an amazing year for us! We received a small grant to do a survey, from which we found a small population of terrapins in a location that had not been documented. And then we scored a bigger grant for a two-year awareness programmes. The "Turtles of Malaysia" brochure that we had been working on for 1.5 years was finally published, and received very good responses too! We met very kind and generous people, and went on to produce a terrapin conservation calendar that we're very proud of. We fostered strong relationships with our supporters, and even stronger rapport with the local villagers we work with, and the local folks in Kemaman. We crossed paths with people who initially joined us for a trip, but ended up being our mentors. We were able to raise awareness on turtle conservation in Malaysia, because so many reporters and writers had our back.

A BIG HUG to you, all 7,441 of you, for being our (very strong) foundation and pillars. We look forward to achieving even greater things in 2019. And yes, with you on board :)
