1,529 Live Turtles And Tortoises Found Duct-Taped ..

“The live turtles and tortoises — all duct taped — were found in four suitcases among clothing and other items, which came from a passenger who arrived on a flight from Hong Kong. The passenger abandoned the luggage, which contained the exotic species worth 4.5 million PHP — equivalent to nearly $87,000.

The species included Redfoot Tortoise, Red-eared Slider, Star Tortoise and Sulcata Tortoise.”
