February was a crazy and exciting month, all rolled into a small package of 28 days. After the first 2 weeks of not being able to secure many terrapin eggs, the following 2 weeks were amazing. We’re now incubating a total of 986 eggs in our hatchery, thanks to the kampung young men who agreed to collaborate with us!

Each egg costs RM5, and just when we thought we’d have to face an up-hill battle of raising the money to buy these eggs, along came Dr. Vala, who’s been tirelessly promoting our fundraiser to her friends and contacts

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011.
