GEMS International School 2019

On the 22nd of March 2019, we were invited to GEMS International School at Tropicana Metropark in conjunction with their Turtle Day celebration, where we talked about turtle conservation and conducted an Eco-Brick session with the students.

We also brought and sold some of our merchandises such as our signature hand-printed terrapin batik, straw pouches, turtle button badges, turtle key-chains, ‘I Love Sea Turtle’ books, tote bags, cosmetic bags and many more. There were also parents selling desserts, snacks and even art paintings!

We thank Ms. Rachel Wright for inviting us, and all the teachers, parents and students who joined us that day!

We carry out Turtle Awareness and Public Outreach Programs to local and international schools, universities and office! For more information on our programmes and educational trips, contact us at pelf@turtleconservationsociety.org.my now!

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
