On 18th June 2019, We Tcsmalaysia Went To Highland..

On 18th June 2019, we #TCSmalaysia went to Highlands International Boarding School in conjunction with World Sea Turtle Day to give an educational talk regarding turtles. We introduced the students, teachers and staffs how to make Eco-bricks and some of them found that the idea of making tool out of used plastics was brilliant and undeniably a wise little act to save the turtles and earth 🐢 🌏 We are happy to spread the awareness of how the turtles have been threatened where the major factor is because of the sea pollution and one of the main contributors is the plastics wastes produced by humans. We also exhibited some turtle species and sold our merchandises to the school community. Some of the goods we sold are meant to promote to conserve the earth and save the turtles.

We are very thankful for the warm welcomes and cooperations from the people of Highlands International Boarding School throughout the event. Hopefully we could come again soon😊

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
