Hey guys👋🏻👋🏻

Yesterday, we held another successful awareness programme with students and teachers from SMK Sultan Sulaiman. We aim to expose the students and teachers to wildlife and conservation issues.

We talked and shared about our work in conserving terrapin and other conservation projects that is based in Kg. Pasir Gajah, Kemaman. We also introduced Eco- brick as a one way to reduce the plastic waste. Noor Azariyah Mokhtar, representative from WWF of Setiu also shared with the students about turtle awareness.

A million thanks to Perhilitan Malaysia, Seatru UMT, DOF TCIC, WWF Malaysia (Setiu), Team Selamatkan Tenggiling Kita and LAPDiM for joining us and we were also thankful for SMK Sultan Sulaiman for giving us opportunity to conduct this programme.

We hope all the students and teachers can gain knowledge from this awareness programme and have a nice day 🤗

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
