Introducing, Azlina Zakariah! Also known as Kak Na.

She is one of the local women of Kg. Pasir Gajah. Prior to our introduction, Kak Na was a full-time housewife. She sometimes makes donuts, upon request. After initiating our project with the local women, Kak Na now, consistently, hand made drawstring bags from our authentic terrapin-motif batik! We also ordered light refreshments for our guest from Kak Na and she delivers it to our center at Kg. Pasir Gajah. Most of our guest loves her big fluffy donuts!

Being part of this project, Kak Na is now more financially independent as she is able generate her own income. This hits our objective of the project with the womenfolk of Kg. Pasir Gajah. Community empowerment. Women empowerment. We wish nothing but everlasting success for Kak Na.

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011.
