Hello. Its Our Last School For This July Session. ..

Hello!!🤗🤗

Its our last school for this July session. We had another outreach program with 400 students from SMK Kompleks Mengabang Telipot.

We shared and talked about our River Terrapin that we conserved and how they are now listed among the 25 most critically endangered turtles in the world. Besides that, we introduced them Ecobricks as one way to reduce plastic wastes. We invited the repsentative from WWF Malaysia (Setiu) and Zoo Kemaman sharing about their conserving project most on turtles and Malayan tiger. We believed that everyone should be aware of this wildlife issue and be more responsible in helping them survive.

A million thanks to Seatru UMT, Zoo Kemaman, LAPDiM, DOF TCIC, Perhilitan Malaysia and WWF Malaysia (Setiu) for joining us and we were grateful for SMK Kompleks Mengabang Telipot for having us.

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
