This morning, we joined a beach clean-up program organised by MNS Pahang around Samsuria Beach, Kuantan. TCS was given a chance to give a brief talk on differences between sea turtles and terrapins. We also promoted our Virtual Run for River Terrapin to the students and other volunteers which will be held in this upcoming August.

After cleaning up the beach, we learned how to sort the trash and later do trash analysis. It was still upsetting to see how much of trash ended up on beaches and majority of them were in plastic forms. This uncontrolled plastic disposal is one of the main threats towards our sea lives. Thus, we strongly urge you to get out from our comfort zone and start doing something for our environment. We never know how much of our little act to help sustaining the nature would change the world to a better place. Be the change now.
