EcoBrick Activity With SJK(C) Chukai

這是一個充實的早晨。我們在挽華小學講解了一個關於塑料污染的課題。在此，我們以演示的方法向老師和學生們介紹製作塑料磚(Ecobrick)的正確步驟。接著我們就讓六年級的學生們開始動手做。製作塑料磚不只可以減少塑料垃圾，還可以把它們變成非常有用的的物品。我們非常感謝學生們的合作。讓我們一起支持這群小朋友，從今天開始收集家裡的塑料垃圾和塑料瓶子來製作美麗的塑料磚吧！

We had a very productive morning!

We gave a talk on the rising problem of plastic pollution that is threatening our environment to the students of SJK(C) Chukai where we introduced EcoBricks as an alternative solution. The talk session includes steps of making EcoBricks, a demo, followed by hands-on EcoBrick activity with Year 6 students.

Students were divided in groups of 5-6 where they were given tools and materials to make an EcoBrick. From this activity, students are aware of how much plastics can be reduced from being brought to the landfill by converting it into a good EcoBrick.

We are happy to see students being very committed throughout this activity. They kept saying “We need more plastics!” Let’s keep supporting our young generation to practice green living.
