Seven Reasons To Donate To Charity: Make An Impact..

All seven reasons are valid, in our opinion, but we’d like to bring your attention to #5 – you can change someone’s holiday season.

BHP recently ordered 1,000 of our terrapin-print tote bags for their staff appreciation party. You’d think that only the ladies in the local community have benefitted from this order, but the truth is far from that!

1) The local ladies who hand-printed the batik cloths.

2)Another Auntie who owns a shop selling sewing materials, because we bought at least 50 rolls of nylon straps from her.

3) Another Kakak who sells fabric, because we bought more than 10 bundles of fabric from her.

4) The local women who sewed the bags, at least 6 of them.

5) TCS.

6) All 900 BHP staff who received such meaningful gifts.

Thank you, BHP and especially Ashley Yap, for supporting TCS, the local batik industry and empowering the women in the kampung!
