A few days ago, we spotted a few female river terrapins checking out one of the nesting banks along the Kemaman river. Our local community teams are making preparations for this coming nesting season (which is just around the corner!).

We are hopeful that we can collect as many terrapin eggs as possible for our terrapin egg protection programme this year.

Help us save terrapin eggs through our fundraising effort by symbolically adopting a terrapin. RM35 per adoption; RM5 will be used to buy a terrapin egg and RM30 to purchase a microchip for each hatchling.

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
