One of the best components about DRT Show in KLCC Convention Centre are the VIP speakers in Malaysia. Some familiar faces in the field of environmental and wildlife conservation will be speaking at the expo.

Mr. Jeethvendra,

A Marine Biologist from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) who is currently working as a Science Officer at Tropical Research and Conservation Centre (TRACC). He does research on reef restoration, Crown-of-Thorns starfish and sea turtles.

Mr. Alvin Chelliah,

Studied Marine Science at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). He has been working with Reef Check Malaysia for the past 8 years where he manages and leads annual surveys all over Malaysia. Based in Tioman, he is currently leading a 7 year program (Cintai Tioman) to increase social & ecological resilience of the island.

Mr. Mohd Faisal Abdur Rani,

Founder of Malaysia EcoBrickers Community and a Volunteer Leader of Trash Hero KL. He has dedicated 3 years of executing and implementing green business development, community empowerment and development, sustainable waste management training and awareness programmes in companies, communities and schools. He is moving towards optimization and sustainable development.

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
