Southern River Terrapins are extremely special and rare. They are only found in three countries, Thailand, Cambodia and Peninsular Malaysia and play an important ecological role in maintaining our rivers and estuaries healthy.
.
Our main objective is to help recover depleted number of critically endangered Southern River Terrapins in the wild. So we promote our own Terrapin Adoption programme that runs parallel with our Terrapin Egg Protection initiative.
.
This one-off symbolic adoption of RM35 will be use to incentivise local villagers (RM5 per egg) and to purchase a microchip for individual terrapin identification (RM30 per microchip).
.
Take part in our terrapin conservation effort by symbolically adopt a terrapin today! You will get to name your terrapin too. And if you wished, you will also receive a tax-deductible receipt and a Certificate of Adoption.
