We have just been informed that several dogs were rounded up by council workers in a residential area here last week and killed on the spot. We cannot even imagine the fear and pain they felt. Please remember that this is NOT a dog-friendly island. Do not under any circumstances allow your dog to run around freely outside the compound of your own home. This puts your dog at very high risk of being shot and poisoned, among other worse things. It is illegal to allow your dog to roam around unsupervised. Having a license for your dog does not change this. Keep your dog safe. If you feed any stray dogs please make sure you get them neutered.
