We are pleased to see that Malaysian authorities are taking animal abuse cases more seriously with the amended Animal Welfare Act. Please report abuse cases to the police and the Department of Veterinary Services. It helps if you have photos or video to encourage them to take action.

KUALA LUMPUR: Setapak police and animal rights activists rescued three dogs from an apartment here after a neighbour recorded videos of him allegedly abusing the animals.
