We Received A Call Asking For Blood Donation For 8..

We received a call asking for blood donation for 8-year-old Ninja who is to undergo a surgery to remove a tumour from his spleen. We dispatched our lifesavers Elizabeth and Polka to Gasing.

Elizabeth’s blood was a match and she donated for Ninja’s surgery. Our blood donor dogs somehow know that they are saving lives and donate without any fear.

Just look at the smile on Elizabeth’s face while blood is being drawn from her.

We have eight donor heroes who donate free of charge to save lives. If we are using a pet transporter to bring them to and from the clinic to the MDDB half-way-home – you just need to pay his transportation charges.

Since they are required to go to Gasing with short notices to save lives, we need to keep them in PJ.

We have been told to vacate our current premises by the local authorities but have found a new place at RM4,000 a month.

We are urgently raising funds to pay the advance rental and deposits.

So far we have only managed to raise 10% of the required amount.

Pls help us find a home for our donor dogs so that they can continue saving lives. Herewith the details:

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
