Dear all,

Our blind and three legged doggo man Bommer broke out in horrible rashes and had to be shaven bald and admitted at Gasing. He was also running a high temp. We were received this about Boomer.

Update On Boomer:

1. His white blood cells during the admission was 67 and it has gone down to 42 yesterday (Normal range 6-12).

2. His red blood cells during the admission was 27.8 and it has dropped even lower yesterday to 23.3 (Normal range 44-57). No blood transfusion is needed for time being.

3. Ear tip smear test showed that he don’t have any tick parasites

4. His skin is quiet bad because of skin parasite called Demodicosis (Demodex). He is on skin medication.

5. No fever, platelet count is normal, all his organs are fine and he has started eating.

6. His next blood test is on the 26th April (Sunday).

Wer also received another message from Gasing:

“It is possible to settle 2 invoices from march 2018. 1. Rm 1335.60 for aj and 2. Rm 1334.54 for boo. Total rm 2670.14.”

Hence we need urgent help again as we have only you to turn to. We are hoping to raise RM2,000 for Boomer as well as some for tge outstanding bills. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
