Update on Ah Bi

Ah Bi, a senior mother dog rescued fromDBKL Pond in Jan 2019 & sent to clinic for check up. She was diagnosed with heartworm diseases, mammary glad tumors, bad inflected gum & tooth. In March 2019, she went for the removal of tumors & bad tooth. Thereafter, she was surpose to go for her neutering & heartworm treatment. However, dr kept postponing on her surgery due to unstable health condition.

Despite of that, ah bi is happily staying in the shelter. Last week , she looked unwell & sent to the clinic . Dr informed thatah bi seem to hv difficulty in breathing. An xray was taken that show her lung looks bad which similar to the previous mammary growth that spread to the lungs. There was no significant findings from The blood test. Ah Bi is now boarding at the clinic for monitoring.

For the past 10 years , a lot of our shelter senior dogs desperately need medical attention & treatment like Ah Bi . We can never express enough gratitude for our regular supporters & donors . They are Mr Kok , Mrs Beh , Geeta, Mr & Mrs Lo & William , Waii Kwok , Richard , SK Toong , CK Tan, TG Toh, Puspha.
