We Received Such Happy News This Morning From This..

We received such happy news this morning from this beautiful couple, Martin & Chris Yim, who came just as we were wrapping up at the adoption drive yesterday, and adopted Mooney.

Here is news from them:

“We have renamed her Micco. She had been well house broken last night, fed her, took her for a walk this morning.

Bathed and blow dried her.”

Micco looks so happy during her walk, and super relaxed and contented at home. Thank you Martin & Chris. Your kindness touch our hearts and we are crying tears of joy on seeing how well she has settled with you.

What is most touching about this is that Micco is an adult dog. The story began in September 2013. Auntie Kim fed her when she was a puppy and several other dogs in a workshop area.. and one evening, the Malay owner of the workshop told her that the feeding of strays are attracting more dogs and disturbing his business, and if she were to continue, he will poison all the dogs. On hearing that, Auntie Kim, quickly picked up the two puppies (Micco is one of them), and stopped feeding at that area. She kept Micco in her own home while trying to find homes for the puppies, but after a year, and complaints from neighbours which led to warning letters from the council, Micco ended up living in the shelter. So for over 6 years, she has been in the shelter, and finally, yesterday, two angels on earth took her home and made her part of their family. 🌈💛🐾

Finally, Micco has a loving home with loving Pawrents! Bless you Martin & Chris!

Second Chance is a group of like-minded animal lovers who met through the Internet when they read of Aunty Kiew's plight.

They do their very best to render help whenever time permits and within their limited capacities. They hope to find good homes for as many homeless animals as possible. Currently, there are 100+ animals rescued and fostered by this group.
