This morning (25/5), a lady reported to ISPCA that authorities from Ipoh City Council (MBI) have captured a few stray dogs in a Pasir Puteh school compound, which one of them was owned by the lady. The dog was previously under the TNR programme, with code 1133.
ISPCA immediately confirmed with the authority about the dog (No.1133) and they have returned it to the lady responsible.
Authority from City Council (MBI) said that action was taken due to complaints from parents that some of the stray dogs might threaten the safety of their children.
TNR Programme from ISPCA where strays neutered will be given a collar tag and inserted microchips, will ease the relevant authority in identifying person in charge that is responsible for the strays and hence returning to the person responsible instead of putting the strays in another location. Thus, ISPCA hope that public can support the TNR Programme that is part of ISPCA-MBI Collaboration.
