There are already 6 rabies cases since the first one in Sarawak (June 2017) until the latest case which happened in Sepetang, Perak.
ISPCA hereby hope that all the pet owners can pay more attention to your own pet dogs, normally dogs which are infected with rabies will not have the appetite to eat and later on, there will be excessive production of saliva and lastly, they will start to bite.
If there are situations as mentioned, please immediately contact the veterinary clinic nearby or any relevant authority. At the same time, ISPCA hope that pet owners can be more responsible in handling the cases, please do not abandon your dog if they were found infected with rabies. This will not only hurt them but also the public safety.
Lastly, volunteers or workers that are in charging of rabies cases, please take good care of your own health. We hereby thank you all.
