[ A letter from miss Susteen (independent volunteers).]

These are some of the dogs around our factory site in Silibin that independent volunteers have neutered. These dogs have been neutered approx. about 6,7 years ago in an effort to keep strays breeding at control around our factory site. We can not get all the dogs around the site neutered but we started with the ones that hang around our factory. Slowly around 5-6 six are done. They are not only neutered but we manage them with proper feeding.
Every other staff at the nearby factory also contributes some food generously. This way the dogs do not have to savage for food either. This effort has not only been beneficial for the strays but also been beneficially in keeping the street, factory and workers safe as these dogs keep guard of the surrounding. These dogs also makes sure new dogs done cross into their boundary which means we can keep the dogs in that street and area at controlled level.
However MBI team came over to catch stray dogs around the factory site a week ago but l manage to explain to them on the situation where these dogs are neutered and managed and is best to not remove them. MBI team advised to contact ISPCA an tagging and collar to identify these dogs as neutered and managed so it will be easier for them to identify them during their operation. They also explained just ears cropping alone are not not easily identified at times.
Following to their advice I immediately made a call to Mr. Ricky and explained to him the situation. He guided me on how to go about the tagging and micro chipping also kindly contributing solutions on how could could these dogs to the vet for the matter. Within the same week we volunteers got all the tagging and micro chipping done for these dogs, the process has been easy and now these dogs can live a safer life on the street. I could only hope the factory owners will acknowledge and accept the presence of neutered / managed dogs and I also hope factories owners can start neutering of strays around their place.
