Yesterday we received a call from a Chinese independant volunteer, she found a stray with a rusty collar on its bleeding neck and she asked us for help. Volunteers thought that they could remove the collar and treat the wound, but it turned out to be even more serious than it looked: most of the rusty metal had penetrated through its skin, and has to be rushed to the vet immediately.
The vet and volunteers did their best to remove everything from the poor dog's skin internally and externally, before sanitising and vaccinating it.
Currently the dog is resting in ISPCA shelter, and will be neutered after it recovered.
It has a gentle personality and is suitable for adoption.
昨天接到一位中国籍妇女(独立义工)的求助，她发现其中一只新喂养的流浪狗，颈部有生锈铁连锁着而且有血迹，义工原来只以为拿工具为牠剪掉再塗药物处理，但到现场才发现情况非常严重，必须马上找兽医，因为大部分生锈铁支己经插入牠体内。
送医后，医生和义工合力把铁连剪开，再把插入体内的铁片全数取出，消毒，打预防针。
目前已送入 ISPCA 庇护所休养，等牠全愈后，再为牠节育。
牠性情温和，适合领养。
ISPCA呼吁更多的志愿者加入我们的行例。
