ISPCA Shelter started its operation in this current location since 1996. Shelter during that time housed both dogs and cats. In 2012, the cattery temporarily handed to another animal organization that focuses on cats to share this burden. It was since then, the group refuses to return the cattery to ISPCA, they even apply from land and mines department to have the cattery's land. In July 2018, their application got approval and they now owned the land including the building.
Even though the land is not owned by ISPCA, but however, we are still paying the Temporary Occupation Licenses (TOL) of approximately RM1500 per annum (Until 2020). Furthermore, ISPCA is now informed the increase in the TOL of 300%. The amount to be paid is now RM5500.00.
This is another burden towards Non-Profit Organization like us.
ISPCA 动物庇护所从旧址搬迁到新址(1996)，包括猫舍都是由 ISPCA 管理层管理。从2012开始猫舍借给另一个动物组织(以猫为主)之后，不但沒有归还给 ISPCA ，他们还向土地局申请这个(猫舍)土地使用权，最终在 今年七月份，土地局把原来属于 ISPCA 的地段(包括建筑物)都割出给这个组织。
事情也未因此而告一段落，ISPCA 一直交还土地租金 (TOL) 每年是约 RM1500(直至2020年)，但现在突然间租金起了 300% 现在每年要约还RM5500。
这对我们非营利组织来说简直是雪上加霜。
