Happy New Year! 每年的大节日都要不厌其烦提醒大家 : 晚上放炮、放烟火期间，请把毛小孩看紧，最好关在安全的室内，实在不希望再有宠物走失了 😣🙏🙏

因为动物的听力是人类的几十倍！受惊的毛小孩会行为失控，甚至自己钻出大门逃跑。

对我们来说烟火一点都不浪漫 … 人类欢庆的背后，我们看到的是连锁的动物悲剧

… 浪浪因受惊、暴冲而被车撞死

… 路上鸟类尸体增加

… 宠物走失率暴增

… 毛孩行为失常、身体不适等

所有生命共享这片土地，我们的快乐不该建立在它们的痛苦上。

停止燃放烟火，真的是种尊重和关爱。

Keep an eye on your family pets as well as help to look after those stray children. It is really better to keep your pet indoor as for animals that have a much keener sense of hearing than humans, it may seem as though they are trapped in a war zone!

They are all frightened to death by the loud noise generated from the fire crackers. In severe cases of panic, stray dogs and cats may rush out onto the roads only to be crushed under the wheels of cars.

Not only are casualties on the roads increasing, erratic behaviour in unhealthy family pets also increase resulting in higher rates of lost pets. Can you imagine their pain?

Stop the practice of setting of fireworks/crackers. Help to share this and let us care more about our environment and the lives of those that share it with us.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
