A request below. I have written to Yi Lian (Sophia) if she would consider picking them up and doing the needful.

From:

Message:
Dear Dr Chan,

I went to the morning market today around 8.40am and saw a cardbox
containing about 5 kittens and 1 dead. I’m not sure how old are they
but they have yet to open their eyes. It’s orange tabby colour. Placed
on a curb right in front of the morning market. Unfortunately, I do
not have a handphone at the time and neither did my mum. They are at
Jalan Permaisuri, Bandar Mahkota Cheras, 43200 Batu 9, Selangor. Can
you get someone to rescue the kittens or at least send them to SPCA??
My mum doesn’t like the idea of sending them herself to SPCA cause the
box is wet and it might just break cause its a cardbox. She’s afraid
if there’s diseases too. Please send an angel to rescue these kittens,
they deserve a chance to live. It’s pretty obvious they won’t make it
unless rescued. Please respond quickly or call SPCA. Thanks and God
bless you.

Yi Lian writes again, citing urgency:

Dear Dr Chan,
I’ve writen earlier to you in your blog regarding the kittens I saw that is placed inside a cardbox. It’s raining now and I think they are soaked wet and will die soon as one is already dead with fungus or black dots all over the face. There are still about 4 still alive. All huddled up together, eyes not even open yet. Please spread the message because it’s really urgent. Thanks

Yours sincerely,
Yi Lian
