Pulau Ketam Neutering Campaign (Eng version below) 吉胆岛-五条港渔村下乡结扎活动 (3月30-31号 / 12-6pm) 吉胆浪浪需要大家的爱和援助 😢🙏

活动一波三折 ….. 巴生吉胆岛分成两个渔村 – 吉胆渔村和五条港渔村。其中吉胆渔村的浪浪生活品质最恶劣，也是我们想先开始做结扎的地方，但村委会两星期前拒绝让我们过去结扎。

前几天心痛听到市政局再次进吉胆渔村杀狗的消息! 很多当初我们认识的那些亲人狗狗，据说都已被扑杀 … 所有扑杀新闻都看在眼里，但我们能做的只有擦干眼泪，为了逝世的生命迅速再站起来

老天保佑，五条港渔村大力配合、欢迎我们过去帮浪浪，所以这个月尾将在五条港开始结扎

目前结扎医药开销毫无着落，因为结扎的多会是浪浪，活动筹款目标为RM7,500 (平均一只狗结扎开销RM150, 目标50只)

Neutering Campaign at Sungai Lima Village, Pulau Ketam (30th-31st March / 12-6pm) Homeless souls at Pulau Ketam need your love and help 🙏 (Organized by HOPE & Very Important Pet Magazine)

Pulau Ketam is having two fishing villages – Ketam Village and Sungai Lima Village. The welfare of strays are the worst one at Ketam Village, and we wish to start the campaign from there, but two weeks ago the village committees officially refuse to let us carry out the campaign. Days ago we heard that Klang council was getting in Ketam Village to cull the strays again 😭

Fortunately, we have the full support of Sungai Lima Village! Therefore it will be our starting point of the campaign.

Our funding target for this campaign is RM7,500 (est. neuter 50 strays with approx cost of RM150/one animal)

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
