每一天其实救援、结扎都不停歇，加上这个月园区人力不足、开销大、进行中的计划又多，承受的压力异常大

We received tons of SOS calls from public everyday. Instead of saying “Aren’t you a shelter? Please come and take the strays away, i just inform out of the kindness.” We hope everyone can say… “What can i do to help those strays?”

Recently we feel extremely exhausted. The rescue work never stops for a single day – oprhan kittens, injured strays, accident, paralysed, strays in need of sterilisation, the worst is that we’re facing manpower shortage recently and the ongoing project is a lot, we’re under high pressure.

It’s the society’s responsibility to help solve the social issue together. Strays problem is a very complicated social issue and it’s impossible to be solved with efforts of a small bunch of people. Control the stray overpopulation problem by ADOPT, NEUTER & NEVER ABANDON.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
