前几天救援的老名犬Jack Russell (暂时叫她Tofu) 昨天动了乳癌肿瘤切除手术，手术中医生也发现她的子宫严重发炎、开始有蓄脓迹象。

我们见过太多的老毛孩，在老年时得了子宫蓄脓 / 睾丸癌 / 乳癌，而被弃养、或因为太老、身体状况不适合动手术，而被慢性折磨死、或死在手术台上 … 而这一切，其实都可以靠一个30分钟的结扎手术来避免 !

This old Jack Russell we rescued days ago (we named her Tofu), her mammary gland tumor successfully been removed yesterday.

And vet also found that she has severe uterus infection and hydrometra.

But Tofu is the lucky one… She awaked from the surgery and started to eat by today.. keep fighting girl

We have seen too many old furkids who died of pyometra/breast cancer/testicular cancer, as their body condition is no longer suitable to have the repair surgery, they’re either being tortured slowly and die, or die on the surgery table or being abandoned…

But all these tragedy can actually prevented by a 30mins low risks NEUTER surgery.

Highly suspect Tofu was being abandoned due to her sickness. She was rescued at Jln Anggerik 2, Tmn Anggerik, JB. Please inbox us if you know her.

Pet abandonment is a crime. We wish to find out the one who abandoned Tofu. But of course, we also hope that she’s a lost pet and owner can come forward to bring her home asap. #AdoptNeuterDontAbandon
