This youngster came to our shelter with his father last week to adopt a dog, and finally decided to take this brown fatty home with them (this must be true love)

The son told us that he had seen Namewee’s propaganda video earlier and learned the importance of adoption, so when he’s ready to raise a dog, the family decided not to buy.

Up to 90% of the shelter furkids are lovely and obedient adult pets, but because many people have misconceptions about adopting an adult pet, they can’t have a real home and live in street or shelter for life…

Advocate the concept of “Adopt, don’t buy” is one of the things you can do for the homeless animals. It is not only the public figures that have influence. Everyone actually has the power of love to influence the people around you!

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
