每天好心喂它吃饭的一户人家叫它 ‘’巧克力‘’
这就是公狗也需要结扎的原因！
十只这样重伤的浪浪有九只是公的，通常是在母狗发情期打架造成
喂食者发来求助时，我们还不知道伤势是这样严重， 当时只心想，颈项有伤口就帮忙医好狗狗了再结扎原放吧
等真正抓到巧克力时，我们都在哀嚎 『太严重了吧！』它的颈项被百条苍蝇虫钻的千疮百孔，伤口很大也很深，不断流着血水发出恶臭 ….
因为当时诊所都关了，只能把它寄宿义工家一晚，隔天早上送医
一直以为只有颈项受伤，没想到白天我们才注意到他的阴茎也溃烂了啊啊啊！这是因为没有结扎，通过交配而感染的性病 ……
巧克力的细菌感染非常严重也很痛苦虚弱，在医生的抢救下，这两天终于稳定下来，伤口需要1-2个月时间愈合，性病也需要做一个月半的化疗
巧克力体型比较小只，个性也很温和，通常这样的公浪浪在抢伴侣或地盘的时候，都是被其他公狗打的落花流水的那个 …
如果受伤又没及时治疗，导致苍蝇去下蛋而生虫，长时间下来就会变这样恐怖的伤口
捕捉时天黑了，我们一直都以为它是只黑狗，还奇怪为什么喂养人叫他巧克力 🤔 原来他真的有巧克力色的漂亮棕毛，狗狗康复后一定是个帅男孩 ✨✨

This stray doggie was rescued on the same day as the old stray “Mei One”, with severe maggot wound on neck and also suffer from transmissible venereal tumour (TVT) … A kind family who used to feed him named him ‘‘Chocolate’’.
This is why male dogs need to be neutered! Nine out of ten stray with such severe injuries are MALE stray due to the fight in mating season.
When the feeder asked for our help, we didn’t been informed that the injury was so serious. We just thought that if there is a wound on the neck, we will help treat the dog, neuter, release him back and manage by the feeder.
Only after we caught Chocolate, we were all wailing, “The injury is so serious!” Its neck has been sorely drilled by hundreds of maggots, the wounds are large and deep, and the blood is constantly dripping and emit a foul smell.
As the vet clinic was closed at that time, we could only board him at a volunteer’s house for one night, and sent for medical treatment the next morning.
We always thought that only the neck was injured, but we didn’t expect that the next morning we saw that his penis was also festered badly. This is the common TVT problem an unsterilized stray will get, a sexually transmitted disease infected through mating.
The bacterial infection of Chocolate is severe, he was in agonising pain and very weak. With great efforts of the vet, these two days he’s finally stabilized. The wound needs 1-2 months to heal, and TVT needs one and a half months for chemotherapy treatment.
Chocolate’s size is smaller than a normal sized mongrel, and his personality is gentle. Usually, when male dogs fight over partner or territory, tame boy like Chocolate is always the loser in the fight and get injured.
If the injury is not being treated in time, causing the flies to lay eggs, with maggots, the wound will deteriorate at a fast pace.
It was at night when we trapped him, we thought that he was a black dog, and wondered why the feeder called him Chocolate.
But he is actually a beautiful dog with dark brown fur like chocolate, he will be a very handsome boy after the full recovery.
