WARNING ABOUT BLACK MOLD ON HUMMINGBIRD FEEDERS
Black mold is deadly to hummingbirds and can grow quickly inside feeders during hot weather. You may have seen it around the openings where the birds drink. Some bird lovers have been heartbroken to see their beloved birds die due to feeder negligence.
To keep your little birdies safe, you need to maintain your feeder. We recommend a 1 hour vinegar soak overnight. Use 2 parts water to 1 part vinegar and let it soak for a few hours before rinsing very well.
