HELPING EACH OTHER COPE DURING CIRCUIT BREAKER

Happy labour day weekend to all!

A kinder world for animals only starts with us looking out for one another. During this CB period, SPCA is assisting those who are unable to get pet supplies online, due to the closure of pet shops. We’ve also contacted social service groups to help elderly clients who aren’t digitally savvy.

However, we need more ears and eyes on the ground. Please help us by looking out for those around you and email us at enquiries@spca.org.sg if a neighbour or loved one needs help with getting pet supplies during this period.

Here are other simple ways to impact lives from home.

✅Thank our delivery men/women — you could even leave them a note or tip.

✅Be mindful of your noise — don’t karaoke at volume 99/100. Everyone’s at home, often studying or working.

✅Be kind to our furkids at home (yup, the ones sleeping in the back of your Zoom calls) — not all furkids adjust well with hoomans around 24/7 too. Ensure they have a safe space to retreat to without human contact if they wish. You could also do simple activities like making DIY pet toys or reading up on pet care. Don’t forget to share your videos & photos with us by tagging @spcasingapore #stayhomepetchallenge. But don’t put them in stressful situations for fun even if you’re bored.

✅Know an animal that needs emergency care? Call our 24/7 rescue hotline: 6287 5355 Ext.9
