Do You Remember Jute, Now Known As Osgood? The Poo..

Do you remember Jute, now known as Osgood? The poor boy had a type of cancerous tumour on his face. The Soi Dog vets were able to close the hole growing on his snout, but the mass ate through the bone and he was left with little holes at the roof of his mouth. This didn’t stop him from getting adopted. In 2017, he flew to his forever home in New York, USA.

We received an uplifting update from his amazing family, who have been taking great lengths in making sure he’s comfortable and feeling so loved.

“Osgood is such a great inspiration, he makes the best of any situation! We just moved — the dogs have their own 1-acre dog park now — and Osgood loves his yard, chasing squirrels, laying in the sun, laying in leaves. And couch, and bed, and yes, sharing my chair during and food during dinner! He has another round of chemo Wednesday and I pray it works. He deserves so much more!”

On behalf of the Soi Dog family here in Phuket, we wish Osgood a speedy recovery. We know he’s such a strong and resilient dog. His remarkable transformation will forever be a truly inspiring #furrytailending.
