Caught Your Eye? We Call It The 'Ailek Effect.'

Namaste! I’m Ailek, which means “little one” in Thai. I’m the yogi of the shelter, the kitty with the best poses and the smoothest moves. I’ve demonstrated a few for you here, and I’m working on a couple more, including a special stretch I like to call the “downward cat”.

When I arrived at Soi Dog, I was struggling to walk after being hit by a car. My hips were fractured, and the vets could hear my swollen joints grinding. It took surgery to fix, and a long time to regain the strength in my muscles, but I got there in the end.

Finding a home of my own to stretch out and kick back in would mean the world to me, so I’m hoping it won’t be long until someone falls in love with my amber eyes, stripy fur and cute, stubby tail and decides to whisk-er me away.
