Young And Homeless Dog Shoto Came To Us From Thail..

Young and homeless dog Shoto came to us from Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, where he’d been cruelly abused by horrible humans.

A city of more than 8 million people, Bangkok is home to thousands upon thousands of homeless animals who’ll need emergency care at any given time. These dogs and cats are vulnerable to getting sick or hit by cars, abused by cruel humans, or simply falling victim to accidents.

Shoto, like so many homeless animals in Thailand, had gotten injured. He was seen wandering around his neighbourhood with a gaping wound filled with maggots. When maggots invade and eat at a wound, which happens commonly and begins quickly in tropical Thailand, it grows bigger and bigger.

Unbelievably, infuriatingly, some people who’d seen poor Shoto were complaining about his presence in their area and the putrid smell of his large, open wound. Some particularly cruel humans threw water on the poor boy and hit him with sticks! It’s quite likely this kind of abuse is the reason he was wounded in the first place.

But thankfully some very kind people stepped up for Shoto. They let our vets know what was happening to this poor boy and we set out to rescue him. He desperately needed treatment.

Unfortunately, Shoto could not use his left front leg, and it had to be amputated. However, that does not stop this happy boy from hopping around the shelter with the volunteers! Despite such a cruel past, Shoto has nothing but love for people. Please give him a chance to capture your heart and rescue him from his haunting past. https://links.soidog.org/Enquire-about-Shoto-here
