Due To The Current Pandemic, Most Families Are Sta..

Due to the current pandemic, most families are stationed at home. So, we asked our Soi Dog adopters to share how their rescue dogs and cats are coping with the change of routine.

This is Achilles, previously known as Rakkoen at the shelter. When he was brought into Soi Dog, he had a horrific wound from a collar that had become caught between his neck and arm and dug deep into his skin. But his luck soon changed and he found his forever home in the USA just months later.

We were informed by his wonderful family that, during lockdown, this clever kitty has taken up a new profession as a home tutor.

“Achilles decided to become an academic advisor to my oldest son. His specialties are math and biology! With occasional piano lessons with my youngest son.”

During these uncertain times, it’s successful #furrytailendings like Achilles’ that keep us going and make our work all the more worth it.

If you are a Soi Dog adopter, please send your updates to info@soidog.org

If you are looking to be part of a life-saving and life-changing experience, then look no further than adopting a soi dog or soi cat! Although we cannot fly adopted animals to their forever homes at the moment due to flight restrictions, we are still taking enquiries and registrations of interest.
