In January, We Introduced You To Stealer, A Precio..

In January, we introduced you to Stealer, a precious 10-year-old girl who came to us with a long list of ailments, including deep wounds across her body, a missing lower jaw, ticks, dermatitis and chronic conjunctivitis. We could hardly imagine how someone could abandon a sweet senior dog like Stealer, particularly in her condition. But we don’t want to dwell on her troubled past today.

With this in mind, we are pleased to say that Stealer made a remarkable recovery at our dog hospital thanks to the help of our supporters. In a matter of months, her wounds have healed, her fur has grown long and teddy bear-soft, she’s put on a healthy amount of weight and she’s gained a gorgeous, goofy smile. You’d be forgiven for thinking the “after” photos below were of a different dog entirely.

True to her name, Stealer has stolen many a heart during her time with us, from our vets, to our volunteers, to our keepers and carers. And earlier this month, she stole the most important heart of all: that of her adopter, who also happens to be our dedicated Sanctuary Director, Dr Su. Stealer truly couldn’t be in better hands, and we are thrilled that she’s been given the opportunity to spend her golden years surrounded by love, in all her tiny, fluffy glory.

To keep transforming the lives of Thailand’s vulnerable street dogs and cats, we need your help. With adopted animals unable to fly to their forever homes due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, more animals are coming in than leaving, and our shelter is perilously close to overcrowding. Please give today to help dogs like Stealer. Remember, ALL donations will be doubled at this time by a generous supporter!
