This International Day of Forests, start with baby steps in helping our forests by becoming good and green consumers.

1. Think before you print. If you must print, print on both sides.

2. Look for certified wood and paper products such as the FSC.

3. Reduce, Reuse & Recycle.

Certified wood and paper products come from responsibly managed forests. With the third-party forest certification, an independent organisation develops standards of good forest management, and independent certification bodies issue certificates to forest operations that comply with those standards. One of such certification is Forest Stewardship Council or FSC. So, the next time you’re out to buy some stationery or grocery, check out if the products you’re buying carries the FSC logo.
