As communities around the world struggle with coronavirus, we wanted to assure you that the health and safety of our staff, visitors and volunteers is our first priority.

Strict hygiene protocols have long been in place here at Soi Dog Foundation. We have always had sanitising stations in place around the sanctuary to encourage hand washing after contact with the animals, and our hospitals have always followed World Health Organization guidelines.

We are closely monitoring the situation to ensure we are taking the necessary precautions to protect all who come to Soi Dog Foundation, including taking the temperature of those arriving at the sanctuary to ensure they are not displaying signs of fever. We hope you support us in undertaking these additional measures. Visitors and volunteers are always welcome to seek additional advice from our staff.

Those travelling to Thailand in the near future should note that entry requirements differ depending on nationality and whether you have recently visited or transited through certain countries. This can include a requirement to self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days at your accommodation. These requirements are subject to change as the situation develops. We are following updates from the Thailand Department of Disease Control, and you can too at: https://ddc.moph.go.th/viralpneumonia/eng/index_more.php

Soi Dog Foundation will remain open, unless instructed otherwise by local authorities. We continue to welcome visitors and volunteers on a daily basis. With precautionary measures in place, we are confident that you can continue to visit our sanctuary as normal and feel safe in doing so. And we hope you do visit. The dogs and cats have no one else but you to put smiles on their faces.

We would like to extend our good wishes to you all in these trying times and thank you for your continued support.
