From Melissa:

What we know so far about Ozzy’s disappearance:
06 Dec update: Definitely stolen by people on motorbikes. Restaurant worker in the area (near the Petronas station) saw Ozzy wriggle free from the people on motorbikes who had him, then the bastards picked him up again and went off. Gate was still closed when he was discovered missing, very deliberate theft. Impossible for Ozzy to slip out on his own when gate is closed (he’s also been trained to wait near the front door while cars are driven out of the porch – he does not run out when we open the gate so we are certain he was taken.)

08 Dec update: Sudev’s mom was pasting flyers at the 7-11 along Jalan Masjid (near Pelangi Utama condo, across the highway from Kayu Ara area) when a boy and girl working at the 7-11 approached her saying they had seen Ozzy on the main road across from the 7-11. This is the approximate location: http://g.co/maps/n9wwu

09 Dec update: We are currently operating on the assumption Ozzy was stolen by thugs/petty thieves from the Kayu Ara area (common knowledge among Damansara Jaya residents and people in nearby areas that many break ins, robberies etc. are perpetrated by ruffians from nearby Kayu Ara). If he hasn’t been sold, he’s likely being held in Kayu Ara. If he has been sold, we are hoping the buyer will see the flyers and contact us.

If anyone knows of a police officer experienced in handling pet theft cases or is well versed in dealing with pet syndicates, please let us know how to get in touch. We made a police report ASAP but there have been no leads on that front so far.
