The days of calling an obnoxious human a “dirty rat” may be over, based on the findings below, which is illuminating (and most welcomed!). Also, to those humans who think animals are not capable of having and expressing what we humans call “humane values”, please read the link below.

The above link was shared by my friend, TY Lee from Singapore. He sent it to me as we were discussing the matter of whether animals do consciously perform wholesome acts with good intention or are they merely acts of instinct.  Those who are against anthropomorphism (attributing human values and character to animals) will say animals act of of instinct. Those who have close association with animals will say otherwise.

Just which is the truth?

I don’t know, really.  I guess we could depend a little on research, a little on observation and a lot in what our heart tells us.
