This is a gentle reminder for those who apply for our medical subsidy.
As stated in our policies, we require the following:
1. A photograph of the animal BEFORE treatment is given and a write-up about its illness/injury.
2. The original receipt and the application form for medical subsidy (which will be sent by email to you upon (1)) and a photograph of the animal upon recovery (not required if the animal is deceased).
3. Any in-between updates is most appreciated as well.
If the above photographs and documents are not submitted, we cannot process your application.
We do NOT subsidise the following:
a. Unnecessary and/or extended boarding.
b. Food
c. Accessories
d. Euthanasia
e. Spaying of a pregnant animal
We encourage the rescuer/fosterer to fund at least 50% of the cost of the treatment, so our maximum subsidy is 50% or RM500, whichever is lower.
If the rescuer/fosterer also applies to other medical funds, we would appreciate being informed as per stipulated in our form.
Our funds come from the public who support our work, and as such, policies are needed to ensure that the funds are used appropriately.
We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
