I have my heart set on you!

Hi there! My name’s Ruethid. Did you know that means “heart” in an old royal Thai dialect? The Soi Dog staff say they gave me such a special name because I’m a special boy with a lot of love to give!

If you meet me, the first thing you’re likely to notice is my cute, wobbly walk. I was born with a stiff right hind leg that I can’t bend. Not to worry though. It doesn’t cause me any pain, and I still get around just fine, whether I’m playfully chasing my canine companions around or climbing the ramp up to the sala in my run. All it means is I need to take it easy when it’s time for walkies.

You might also notice I have travel donations. That’s because a generous lady put some money towards my journey to my furever home so I can get there as soon as possible. How lovely! When I was a tiny frightened puppy on the streets, fending for myself with no mum around to protect me, I could only dream of kindness like this.

Now I just need a loving family to fall head over paws in love with my charming smile, polka dot socks and curly tail. Hopefully it won’t be long. I’m a calm and patient boy, but my tail is already wagging just thinking about someone choosing me and all the fun that would follow! Will you be that someone?
