GORO Ma’Daerah is an annual beach clean up event at the Ma’Daerah Turtle Sanctuary, Kerteh. Usually, it is held at the beginning of the turtle nesting season (April) involving various stakeholders including DoF, BPPA, BP Malaysia, Kemaman local council, Department of Forestry, local schools, NGOs and the local communities.
