I wish I could tell you every detail of my story, but sadly I cannot. The pain and sadness in my eyes is the only way I can communicate my past.

Soi Dog first heard about me when a kind man who feeds many street dogs in the community saw a terrified dog with horrible, infected wounds. My name is Sunflower, and unfortunately my past has left me with both physical and mental scars.

As soon as I was spotted, I was petrified and ran away to hide. I did not know who I could trust. It took several days of searching before the animal rescue officers found me and brought me in. I was in a world of pain and feared the worst. However, upon my arrival, the Soi Dog staff treated me with nothing but love. They cared for my wounds and gained my trust. Although I endured a long road to recovery, I felt safe.

Finally, I am happy to say I am ready to find my furever home! While the scars on my body will never fade, I feel stronger than ever. I have learned to trust people again and find comfort in those around me. There is nothing more satisfying than spending time with my human out on a walk where we can just have one-on-one time.

I am thankful for my rescue. Who knows where I would have ended up. Will you be the happy ending to my sad story?
