Sweet Kaisley’s happy ending would never have been possible if it weren’t for Anett and Lawrence welcoming her into their lives openheartedly.

“Kaisley arrived at the Toronto Pearson International Airport on March 11, 2017. Kaisley came to Canada through Soi Dog Foundation as one of the survivors of the dog meat trade. She was found on a transport truck that was travelling from Thailand to China and was intercepted by activists. We were informed of Kaisley’s arrival by Mississauga Humane Society and we applied to foster her through the nonprofit organization. As soon as we picked her up from the airport we immediately fell in love with her. Kaisley’s first week with us was a bit rough as she was a shy dog and she had to adjust to our lifestyle and the cold weather. She has quickly adapted to her new environment and warmed up to the new faces she has met. We waited until the 2 week fostering period was over and the following day we applied for her adoption.

We are so grateful to Soi Dog Foundation and the team for doing all the work they do. Without their hard work we would have never had the opportunity to meet Kaisley.”
